ABOUT ME
If you’re facing stress, grief, or relationship issues, you have come to the right place. It can feel daunting searching for a counsellor and you just want it to be the right fit. Whether you have a history of trauma, PTSD, substance use, or other mental health issues, sessions with me will give you the support, tools and deeper understanding that you need for your personal growth and healing.
In my experience practicing clinical social work, you are the priority. I draw from both traditional therapy methods, in addition to mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches, so that you can leave therapy with a better sense of your strengths and how to maximize them for your success. My approach promotes your empowerment, self-advocacy, and an overall improved quality of life throughout our work together.

EXPERIENCE
I am a Registered Social Worker in both Ontario and British Columbia, with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Social Work degree, specializing in Child Welfare, from the University of Victoria. I bring more than 18 years of Social Work experience in various clinical settings. I am also a certified Life and Wellness coach and I speak fluent Punjabi and Hindi.
MORE THAN JUST MY WORK
I love to stay active, whether it be hiking, biking, skiing or the gym, but I prioritize my self care through reading, writing, meditation and being in nature. A fun fact is that I lived in India for a Term Abroad semester working with a non-profit organization – this is what further drove my passion for becoming a Social Worker.
