ABOUT ME
Are you feeling ready to move past what’s been holding you back? That might be the weight of old trauma, constant feelings of anxiety in your body, processing life or identity changes, or the challenge of navigating life as a neurodivergent person.
I believe you are the expert on your own life, but I know you are here because it’s become harder to figure some things out on your own. That’s where I come in. But I don’t take a passive role. I bring structure, help highlight patterns, and offer tools you can use right away, adapting as your needs and priorities shift over time. Early in our work, we’ll set a clear framework around what you want out of therapy, ensure we are aligned on your treatment plan, and we’ll return to it regularly to track how far you’ve come and where you want to go next.
My approach is grounded in established psychotherapy methods, and informed by real-world clinical experience. I have spent years supporting people through crisis, transition instability, and complex trauma. I help you build a sense of stability first, then get to the deeper part where lasting change can happen, and you have the insight and skills you need to move forward as your most optimal self.

EXPERIENCE
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the BC College of Social Workers and I’m also licensed in the state of New Jersey. I hold a Master of Social Work from Ramapo College and a Bachelor of Social Work from Seton Hall University, and I bring a background that combines frontline clinical work with leadership and supervision.
In addition to my clinical counselling work with veterans, and marginalized populations, I am skilled in supporting those with substance use issues, suicidal thoughts, and more serious or severe mental illness. I have also served in leadership roles within mental health, working as Program Director and overseeing clinical operations across residential programs for Veterans with complex trauma. In this role, I supervised counsellors doing direct work with the veterans, through clinical consultation. In other roles I have excelled in case management where I supported client through crisis intervention, safety planning, and psychotherapeutic counselling.
I have a strong clinical foundation in both cognitive and behavioural approaches, DBT skills, group therapy, and person-centred, trauma-informed care. I have experience working with clients with ADHD, Autism, and neurodivergence. I hold certifications in Psychological First Aid, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI), and SOAR.
I offer adult individual counselling and teen counselling, both available online.
