ABOUT ME
Life can be difficult to navigate during the best of times but during your darkest or most challenging moments it may be hard to find hope or healing. I strive to support you exactly where you are at, helping you to build resilience and heal trauma in a safe and supportive environment. My passion is helping clients process and heal trauma so that they can reduce their symptoms and find healing in their journey. I love working with a diverse range of clientele, ensuring everyone feels understood and valued. I endeavour to empower you toward personal growth and emotional well-being and to help you reach your goals by providing you with the tools and support you need to do so.

EXPERIENCE
Stephanie brings with her over 13 years of Social Work experience in various clinical settings including private practice, community mental health outreach, Indigenous health, and corrections. She is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Waterloo. Stephanie considers herself an emotion-focused, trauma therapist specializing in childhood trauma, substance use, mental disorders, Indigenous issues and deep, root-cause work. In addition, as a social worker and therapist she is committed to the highest standards of practice in addressing issues of social justice, inequality and structural oppression.
MORE THAN JUST MY WORK
When I am not working with clients I am spending time with my family, reading, gardening or planning for the next planting season. I also find great joy in playing Pokemon Go, am a level 48 player and have travelled across North America to attend Pokemon Go events.
