Veterans Counselling
Brain-Based and traditional methods that work for Veterans.

Veterans Counselling for those with Veterans Affairs Canada benefits
We are passionate about offering Veterans counselling because we recognize the courage and sacrifice it takes to serve. You may not see it this way, but we do – and that’s why we are dedicated to helping you heal.
Transitioning from serving in the military to civilian life can create unique, significant challenges. Your relationships, job, and overall health can be impacted if conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression and others are left untreated.
These conditions like many others are highly treatable with the right support. There are advanced methods to help you feel better, quicker.
Veterans counselling is available to you through Veterans Affairs Canada counselling (VAC) – if you aren’t sure, locate your K#, and call 1-866-522-2122. If you aren’t approved, but you are a veteran, you can also get veterans counselling through the Mental Health Benefit (MHB) program. Support can also be available for loved ones who have been affected by your challenges as a veteran.

We Support Veterans Families and Relationships
We understand the impact that mental health challenges can have on your family life and relationships. Our support extended to not only the individual but to your family.
We understand that military service and its aftereffects can create distance within your family, or have impact you just didn’t expect. Sometimes getting support for others in the family too can make a huge difference.
We offer a supportive and safe space where family members can seek support. Perhaps the need is for improved communication, re-establishing the connection that may be lost, navigating parenting challenges, or handling complex health needs. We offer practical tools and support to help you and your family be more present, grounded and connected.
To get your family members counselling, we will need your own mental health provider to provide us with a short letter indicating that counselling for the family member would have a benefit to your mental health. From there, we apply for you, using your K number and the letter.

We make veterans Counselling accessible, affordable & collaborative
